Pex 2Mg

Pex is a benzodiazepine drug that acts as an inhibitor of the central nervous system. Benzodiazepines have a calming effect, stimulate sleep, relieve anxiety and muscle spasms and prevent seizures. Benzodiazepines are also called sedatives.

Pex slows the movement of brain chemicals that can become unbalanced, thereby reducing nervous tension and anxiety. Pex increases the effects of a natural chemical called gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain.

How to use Pex

Follow the doctor’s instructions to take the drug orally. The dosage depends on your health, age and response to treatment. Your dose may increase gradually until the medication starts to work. Please follow the doctor’s instructions carefully to reduce the risk of side effects. If you suddenly stop using this medicine, withdrawal symptoms (e.g. a seizure) may occur. To prevent withdrawal, the doctor may slowly lower the dose.

Side Effects of Pex

All medicines have potential side effects, including Pex. Even if the prescribed dose is kept, side effects can still occur and some side effects are more serious than others. Some common side effects of Pex are:

  • Dry mouth.

Mixing Pex with other medications, especially other sedatives (such as alcohol or opioids) can increase your risk of side effects. It may increase the risk of potentially fatal breathing problems, sedation, or coma. Therefore, alcohol or prohibited drugs are never recommended to be used while taking benzodiazepines, and medical personnel should remove all other drugs.

Precautions of Pex

To ensure the safe and effective use of benzodiazepines, all patients prescribed with Pex receive the following information:

  • Tell your doctor about alcohol consumption and medications you are currently taking, including over-the-counter medications (OTC). Alcohol is usually used during treatment with benzodiazepines.
  • Pex is not recommended for pregnancy. If you are pregnant, have a family plan, or are pregnant while taking medication, please tell your doctor.
  • If you are breastfeeding, please tell your doctor.
  • Do not drive a car or operate heavy or dangerous machinery until you feel the effects of Pex on you.

Storage of Pex

Store this mediation in a box at room temperature. Always keep Pex away from children. If the mediation is expired or outdated, do not use this mediation. Do not freeze medicines. Always try to place medicine in a safe box.
