Reductil 15Mg is one of weight loss medications (treatment of obesity). The effect of this product is related to an increased feeling of satiety (less food) and an increased burning of excess calories (acceleration of the metabolism). Therefore, follow a low-calorie diet and maintain moderate physical activity at the same time.
How to use Reductil 15Mg
Make sure you take Reductil exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are not sure, please contact your doctor. The starting dose is Reductil 10 mg capsules, which are taken once a day with liquid (e.g. a glass of water). If the starting dose does not achieve the desired effect (less than 2 kg weight loss after four weeks of treatment), the doctor may increase the dose to 1 Reductil 15 mg once a day before the previous treatment if you tolerate it. Before increasing the dose to 15 mg, your doctor will monitor any changes in blood pressure and heart rate.
Side Effects of Reductil 15Mg
Like all medications, Reductil can cause some side effects. These reactions usually occur at the start of treatment and disappear over time. The most common side effects are: dry mouth, constipation, loss of appetite and insomnia. Other side effects that may occur include: headache, dizziness, anxiety, increased sweating, increased blood pressure and heart rate, flushing, nausea, increased hemorrhoids and indigestion.
Precautions of Reductil 15Mg
Some people who are very seriously ill or very old or sensitive can make the side effects of the drug worse and sometimes dangerous. Therefore, it is very important to take precautions when taking medication. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are also special categories and require additional care or preventive measures when taking medication. Few patients have hypersensitivity reactions to multiple medications, and such reactions are rarely life-threatening.

Overdose Reductil 15Mg
At a dose higher than the recommended dose, one speaks of an overdose. Overdose always requires clinical monitoring. Excessive medication can have adverse side effects on one or more organs of the body. Most often, drugs are excreted from the kidney or metabolized in the liver. With normal ingestion there are no obstacles to this process, but with an overdose the body cannot metabolize or release it properly, which leads to an overdose.
