Vicodin contains a combination of acetaminophen and hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is an opioid pain reliever. Opioids are sometimes called narcotic drugs. Acetaminophen is a less effective pain reliever that can increase the effect of hydrocodone. Vicodin tablets are used to relieve severe moderate to moderate pain.

When considering combination therapy, the dose of one or two drugs should be reduced. The use of MAO inhibitors or tricyclic antidepressants with hydrocodone preparations may increase the effectiveness of antidepressants or hydrocodone.
Anaustere overdose of Vicodin is considered by breathingproblems (reduced respiratory rate and / or tidal volume, Stokes conscious, violet Osis), extreme narcolepsy develops into stiffness or coma, skeletal muscle relaxation, cold skin and stickiness, and sometimes bradycardia and hypotension. With severe overdose, apnea, circulatory failure, cardiac arrest and even death can occur.
